First Time Rider?
Learn the basics of getting around town on the bus.Using the Trip Planner
2. If it doesn't understand your inputs you will see "Found multiple results, select." Click this box and you will see a drop down box, select a location from the listed choices.
3. Once your locations are found, click Search & then click Show Selected Trip Options.
4. Pick the trip option that best fits your schedule!
5. Click Return Connection in the top right corner for return trip options.
How to Read a Bus Schedule
2. Major bus stops are listed in the order the bus arrives at them. From the bus stops listed, find the stop closest to you & pick which one you want to ride to.
3. Find the time you need to arrive at your destination by and determine when you need to catch the bus to get there on time by looking across the chart.
Taking the Bus
2. Swipe your GoPass or insert your money into the box at the front of the bus to get your fare ticket. If you need to transfer to another bus in the same bus system (ex. Triangle Transit to Triangle Transit) ask the bus driver for a transfer ticket when you pay your fare.
Remember: The bus driver cannot give you change back so bring exact change!
3. When you want to get off the bus, pull the cord along the window or press the strip above your head. If you are unsure where your stop is, tell the bus driver where you want to go and they should help.
